HAPPY NEW YEAR. Welcome 2013.
This year begins with a beautiful creative explosion.
I have an exhibition on the 3rd of Feb. I still have sooooo (extra ooos for added effect) much to do, sorting out prints, promotional material and so much more.
My studio floor is now a sea of rubber gratings and inky balls of paper. My walls are covered in pencil sketches that flutter when the radiator sighs.
As usual I have one million and one art projects on the go and equally as many new years resolutions, one of which I have already broken. (1. Don’t spill anything on the carpet.) Which of course was nice while it lasted- for about an hour…!
I have been working on a new messy inky style, which I am having so much fun with. Which is something I will continue with this year.
I am still working on a few ebooks. Jonathan (my lovely web designer) and I had a few technical hitches, so the release date has been a tad delayed. Now we have invested in a Nexus 7 everything is going smoothly. Hurrah.
Now to stretch some paper, drink some tea, turn into a tea pot (because drinking tea is all I seem to do after updating this blog) and then for a well deserved mince pie.
